The Blaster Master Zero family just got bigger in version 1.3! At Anime Expo 2017, we revealed that indie game legends Shantae and Shovel Knight are coming to Blaster Master Zero as fully playable DLC characters. Let’s have a look at what’s in store with these epic new additions to the subterranean adventure!
That’s right gang, we at Inti Creates are about to spend a lot time in the United States as we go to back to back weeks of conventions! Coming off the heels of our BitSummit announcement where we revealed Mighty Gunvolt Burst and Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack for Switch, we’re taking these (and perhaps some other goodies too!) on the road to both coasts of the US for fans to enjoy at Too Many Games (Philadelphia) and Anime Expo (Los Angeles)! We will also be at E3 prior to those, although without a booth presence. If any media outlets wish to speak with us at E3, or any of the other events for that matter please contact us via our press inquiry page to see if we can arrange a meeting!

Let’s a have a look at each of these titles, starting with Mighty Gunvolt Burst.
Blaster Master Zero Ver. 1.2 is here, and it comes with two brand new gameplay modes that have been added to the game free of charge! Enjoy the new super difficult Destroyer Mode and EX Character Mode, which allows you to play as a cast of DLC characters! A demo version is also available, so first timers can now give the game a try before they buy!

Today is the day, Strikers! The Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 / Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack DLC is ready to be downloaded on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in North America and Europe! Since St. Patrick’s Day is coming up next week, we also whipped up a special St. Patrick’s Day wallpaper featuring the boys from The Seven! It’s time to take control of SOPHIA III and set off on your subterranean adventure! Blaster Master Zero is now available on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS! Jason Frudnick is searching for Fred, a strange frog-like creature that he was studying who escaped from the laboratory, and it’s up to you to find him in this vast underground world filled while hostile mutant scum!
At long last, the update that brings DLC functionality to both Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 (and Azure Striker Gunvolt Striker Pack version of GV2 as well) goes live on March 9th in both North America and Europe! There’s loads of new goodies available like a new song, new game mode, extra missions, and more!
During today’s Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase, we revealed for the first time that Blaster Master Zero is coming to both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS on March 9, 2017 in North America and Europe! This is our first release as an official development partner for the Nintendo Switch, and needless to say, we couldn’t be any more excited about it!
The Switch version differs a bit from the 3DS version in that it has features that take advantage of the Switch hardware, such as HD Rumble compatibility and a brand new co-op Multiplayer mode where 2 players can play using the Joy-Con controllers!
That’s right, Strikers! Azure Striker Gunvolt: The Anime has an official release date of February 9, 2017, and will be releasing worldwide on the Nintendo 3DS eShop! We are super excited for all of you Strikers to finally get your hands on on the Gunvolt anime, so we put together another trailer to give you an even bigger taste of what’s to come! As promised, the anime will be available in its original Japanese with English subtitles AND English dub as well, so without further ado, also me to introduce you to the English cast of the Gunvolt anime in our new trailer!
