Greetings from the Anime NYC showfloor! We’re here showcasing Dragon Marked for Death, and at our panel, producers Takuya Aizu of Inti Creates and Yoshifumi Hashimoto of Hakama took the stage to reveal a bunch of new information about the game!
If you need a little refresher about the game, Dragon Marked for Death is dark fantasy action RPG that can be enjoyed in single player, or with up to four players in local or online co-op multiplayer.
Anime-style PV Revealed
Considering it was at Anime NYC, Inti Creates revealed a new anime-style PV for the game, bringing the characters to life in a whole new way!
Price Point and Means of Sale
Dragon Marked for Death will be sold as two separate packs for $14.99 each. The Frontline Fighters pack will contain the Empress and Warrior characters, which are more friendly to beginners, and contain DPS and tank type characters that are archetypes to any action game. The Advanced Attackers pack will contain the Shinobi and Witch characters, which are more technical characters with higher skill ceilings that are geared towards more advanced players. Players can purchase whichever pack they like first, and then can purchase the other pack as DLC should they choose to do so. For example, if you buy the Dragon Marked for Death pack with the Empress and Warrior, you can purchase the Shinobi and Witch pack as DLC, and vice versa.
Physical release confirmed
Inti Creates will be working with publishers Nighthawk Interactive to produce a retail version of Dragon Marked for Death that will have all four characters available. They plan to have it out as close to the digital release date as possible.
Release Date Moved to January 31st, 2019
In order to create a smaller gap between the release of the physical version and the digital version, the game’s digital release was pushed back a little bit to January 31st from its original December 13th release date.
To coincide with that big announcement, we’re wasting NO time and taking Gal*Gun 2 to Tokyo Game Show to showcase to the public for the first time what the next installment of our glorious pheromone shooting franchise has to offer!
That’s right gang, we at Inti Creates are about to spend a lot time in the United States as we go to back to back weeks of conventions! Coming off the heels of our BitSummit announcement where we revealed Mighty Gunvolt Burst and Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack for Switch, we’re taking these (and perhaps some other goodies too!) on the road to both coasts of the US for fans to enjoy at Too Many Games (Philadelphia) and Anime Expo (Los Angeles)! We will also be at E3 prior to those, although without a booth presence. If any media outlets wish to speak with us at E3, or any of the other events for that matter please contact us via our press inquiry page to see if we can arrange a meeting!
Now, let’s take a look at the events we’ll be exhibiting at!
Inti Creates takes the reigns on the rebirth of the Blaster Master series with “Blaster Master Zero”
At our 20th Anniversary Fan Festa event held in Ichikawa, Japan, we announced that we will be releasing a new game titled Blaster Master Zero that will release on the Nintendo 3DS eshop in Spring 2017!
We acquired the license to the original Blaster Master game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988 by Sunsoft, and began work on a new title for the series.
Happy Halloween, Strikers! A few weeks ago, we held a contest on our Facebook and Twitter to determine who fans around the world would want to see featured in our new Gunvolt 2 Halloween wallpaper, and here is the amazing result!
Our contest winner Gibril takes the spotlight alongside the runner-ups Lola and Asroc. Did the cast of Gunvolt 2 dress up in the type of outfits you thought they would? What costumes would YOU like to see your favorite characters wear? For your reference, here is a list of what everyone is wearing:

Lola – Demon
Asroc – Patisserie
Xiao – White Rabbit (Alice in Wonderland)
Gunvolt – You’re a Wizard, GV!
Mytyl – Ghost

That’s right, we’re going to Anime Expo for the first time ever, and we will have the biggest presence we have ever had at a show outside of Japan…ever! We will have a double-sized booth on the show floor, and by our powers combined with our Gal*Gun publishing partners at pQube, we will have even more awesome stuff at the show! Here’s a full breakdown of all the Inti Creates stuff you’ll find at Anime Expo 2016!
As you may have saw from our big announcement the other day, we are VERY excited to be attending MAGFest 2016! This will be our sound team’s first ever event appearance outside of Japan, and with the two huge concerts that we have planned (Lumen Super Live 2016 and Inti Creates 20th Anniversary Special Concert), it’s going to be an event for the ages! As International Affairs Coordinator, it gives me such great joy to be able to present our super talented sound team, III (pronounced like “Triple Eye”), to the amazing fans who have been supporting them for years who have never had the chance to see them in person.
It’s been a pleasure to work with MAGFest to get this all planned and put together. Making this happen has been a goal of mine ever since I began working here at Inti Creates, and it’s so exciting to see it coming to fruition! I speak for the entire sound team when I say that they are really excited to rock your socks off and meet fans from outside of Japan. Also, in case you missed it, the lead character artist for Gunvolt, Mr. Hatakeyama, did a Lumen Super Live concert poster! My goodness, it’s GORGEOUS!
We hope to see you there in crowd at MAGFest! GET HYPE!
Keep on Striking,
It’s hard to believe that 2016 is the 20th anniversary of Inti Creates! To celebrate this momentous milestone for our company, the Inti Creates sound team, aka III (pronounced “Triple I”), will be putting on two special concerts in Tokyo this winter!
This year at our PAX Prime panel, to celebrate the release of the Steam version of Azure Striker Gunvolt, we gave away a limited edition floppy disk that had an MS-DOS version of Azure Striker Gunvolt along with a code to download the game on Steam. We’re sure many of you do not have access to PCs that can run floppy disk games on MS-DOS, so now that it’s been a few months since the panel, we decided to make this game available to everyone online! You will need the special code that was available with the floppy disk to play the game to the fullest, so if you weren’t there at the panel, maybe you had a friend who was there.
Yesterday was Culture Day, a national holiday here in Japan, but Inti Creates employees and Gal*Gun voice actresses alike gathered together in one of the most unlikely places you can imagine: Boat Race Edogawa, a famous boat racing track on the eastern edge of Tokyo were spectators can bet their hard-earned yen on boat races just like you would at a horse racing track…only with, you know… boats!
